Shuttles Between Caltech and the Sheraton

Caltech will be providing shuttle service as follows:

Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Mornings
Between 8 am and 9 am, there will be several shuttle rounds from the Sheraton to the Caltech parking lot on the north-east side of the Beckman Institute Auditorium.

Thursday Evening
Beginning at 5:15 pm there will be several shuttle rounds from the Caltech parking lot on the north-east side of the Beckman Institute Auditorium to the Sheraton.

Friday Evening
Beginning at 6:15 pm there will be several shuttle rounds from the Caltech parking lot on the north-east side of the Beckman Institute Auditorium to the Sheraton.

Saturday Night (after the banquet)
Beginning at 8:45 pm there will be several shuttle rounds between the Avery House Circle on Holliston and the Sheraton.

Sunday Afternoon
Beginning at 12:15 pm there will be several shuttle rounds from the Caltech parking lot on the north-east side of the Beckman Institute Auditorium to the Sheraton.

Note: The Sheraton provides a hotel shuttle that is available from 6:30 am - 10:30 pm and goes anywhere within a five-mile radius. Please inquire at the hotel for details on using their shuttle.

Walking to Caltech from the Sheraton

The walk from the Sheraton to the Beckman Institute Auditorium (BIA) is about 20-25 minutes. Head east on Cordova and walk about 0.8 miles to Wilson. Turn south (right) onto Wilson. The Caltech campus starts at the corner of Wilson and Del Mar. Beckman Institute is just south east of the large, very modern Broad Center that you will see beyond the matrix of palm trees on the east side of Wilson. Getting to Caltech: area maps and info.

Parking Information: On Thursday and Friday, parking permits will be required. Please see Ann Harvey at the reception table in the Beckman Institute to obtain permits for each day. The permit needs to be displayed in your windshield and allows you to park in any unmarked space.

Once you arrive on campus, park in any unmarked space, obtain your permit from Ann, and place it in your car. There should be plenty of parking in the lots north east of the Broad Center (accessible from Wilson or Michigan). (Map from Mapquest)
